Tell us how you met.
Deb and I met while working together at a luxury fashion brand. When I left, Deb was promoted to my position! Five years later, we’re still in touch.
How would you describe your relationship?
Warmly collegial. We don’t work for the same company anymore, but we regularly catch-up over cocktails.
Why do you click so well?
How do I count the ways? We share common ground professionally: Deb has a deep knowledge of our industry, a love of directional design and a passion for fine craftsmanship. On the personal side, we both have families as well as careers. And well-kept secret: both Deb and I had first careers in the theater before finding our way into fashion ecommerce.
What’s the best advice she’s given you?
Deb is too modest to give advice. I learn by her example of hard work, kindness and empathy.
What’s one habit your work wife that cracks you up?
I don't characterize Debbie as a work wife. She doesn't even cook! Deb often works in designer showrooms during Paris and Milan fashion week. I love her behind-the-scenes stories!
What’s her style: Ultra feminine? Classic chic? Casual cool? Adventurous trendy?
Deb has awesome personal style and loves pieces by Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten, Sacai, Rei Kawakubo and Greg Lauren.

I love my bestie because…
She exemplifies strength, tenacity, loyalty and kindness.
